Wanted to get a photo of Rudy, the ringneck parakeet we caught, before giving him up for adoption. He is quite the escape artist, so after a while, we started calling him Rudini. I wanted to call him Nomad when he came flying into our lives, starving. He ate 4 peanuts and a grape and promptly fell asleep. A good bird, but a handful.

First harvest of tomatoes. They're really small but five times more flavorful than store-bought with concentrated tomato flavor. I let some people at work taste, and they go, "Wow, tastes like tomato." I said they are tomatoes! (even if they're not much bigger than blueberries)
