Setting the holiday table with style

Renaissance man Kensei hosted a pre-Thanksgiving dinner at his apartment, setting the table with extraordinary dishes he cooked up and presented on his best china.

Caught Kensei's "Art of Jewelry" fashion show at the Halekulani. I was only going to take a few backstage photos before getting on a plane, but the arrival of Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast meant the airline cancelled the flight and I was able to catch the entire show.

During a photo shoot with Anya Rozova for HI Luxury magazine, we did an impromptu photo in Kensei Takeda's bathtub, not for publication, just for ourselves, with a Neiman Marcus gown that didn't make it into the final edit.
