Got worked over at Korean-style Herbal Spa & Saunas, but had a chance to decompress afterward in the Himalayan salt cave sauna.

National Pie Day a reason to indulge

National Pie Day provided an excuse for a feeding frenzy at the Star-Advertiser offices, with the sharing of pies, both homemade and purchased. As you can see, some pies were more popular than others, like peanut butter crunch, and actually, the savory chicken pot pies and quiche, rather than dessert pies.

At a De Beers and Maria Canale for Forevermark diamond master class at Neiman Marcus, learned how a diamond goes from mines to sorting to finished product. It was amazing to handle a fistful of the rough stones, and trying to imagine what they might become.
